ചേരുതോട്ടിൽ ബീന(65), സൗമ്യ (37) എന്നിവർക്കാണ് വെട്ടേറ്റത്. സൗമ്യയുടെ ഭർത്താവ് കരിനിലം സ്വദേശി പ്രദീപാണ് ഇരുവരെയും വെട്ടിയത്. വെട്ടിപ്പരിക്കേൽപ്പിച്ച ശേഷം ഒളിവിൽ പോയ പ്രദീപിനെ ജീവനൊടുക്കിയ നിലയിൽ കണ്ടെത്തുകയായിരുന്നു.
